Dear Readers,

After some time we are back with the second advertisement of Polish Ministry of Environment. The are three of them in total and the first was shown by us earlier this month. <a href="http://www.thegreenenergy.net/2009/06/06/enviornment-ministry-commercials/#more-22/ "target="_blank" title="water saving commercial"> The water saving commercials was the most controversial as it has undeniable sexual implied meaning. The second one regarding electricity saving is definitely a “softcore” ad. Please remind that all three commercial are official publication by the Ministry of Environment in Poland and were shown during <a href="http://www.cop15copenhagen.com/2009/02/14/cop-14-poznan/ "target="_blank" title="COP14 Poznań ">COP14 in Poznań.

google_ad_slot = "9735124514";
google_ad_width = 300;
google_ad_height = 250;

And how you perceive it? Now we have more scary movie scene than in previous clip. Well…in my opinion it’s still very poor message and commercial as an overall “work”. However is more logical and reasonable that the water saving advertisement and having shower together with partner. Although we have still a minor sexual tone.

Less electricity consumption means lower energy bills and additional (small but within a bigger population it shouldn’t be underestimated) natural environmental saving.

Again I would like to present for non-Polish speaking Readers a small translation of the ad’s content.

“Stefan and Mariolka (funny combination of names in Poland) save electricity eating supper using candles. And you? What did you do today for environment”. Last scene shows the <a href="http://www.cop15copenhagen.com/2009/02/14/cop-14-poznan/ "target="_blank" title="COP14 conference">COP14 conference logo and the statement: “Poland – climate for changes”.

Please take a look for the <a href="http://www.thegreenenergy.net/2009/06/06/enviornment-ministry-commercials/#more-22/ "target="_blank" title="saving water commercial">first and <a href="http://www.thegreenenergy.net/2009/06/28/transport-fuel-saving-commercial-polish-ministry-environment/"target="_blank" title="transport fuel saving">last commercial of Polish Ministry of Environment.

Dear Readers,

Are you annoyed by the commercials interrupting in film watching? Commercials before weather broadcast, sport news? I have sad news…nothing can be done with it. However have you been wondering what kind of products/services are difficult to advertise? What do you think about energy? Maybe it’s not a very difficult theme to promote, but I think it’s tough to invent such advertisement, especially in an original way. I prepared two examples for you: one advertisement <a href=http://www.zarzadzanie-energia.eu/2009/06/03/czy-energie-mozna-reklamowac-ciekawostka-na-poczatek/ "target=”_blank” title="more green commercials">can be watched on our other website and second is placed below, but please watch the films without reading the whole text.

And how do you perceive it? I think it’s great. Showing the potential of wind energy and additionaly it’s touching. It presents also a way to promote the wind energy without showing wind mills for 90% of the clip.

It’s an ad of a big company GE, so even giants want to, amongst others, improve the ecological awareness of society. I wish you more of such nice commercials. If you have some interesting links place them in your posts/comments.

I think this video proves one more time that green energy is better than grey energy…

Regards,
Anthony
